Animal abuse is something that’s reported in the news, almost on a daily basis.

Cats and dogs seem to be the most abused animals.

In fact, the Parma Animal Shelter got involved with helping abused dogs from Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico.

We, along with veterinarians and volunteers, nursed the dogs back to health. All of them found loving forever homes.

What You Can Do Stop Animal Abuse

Stand up for animals! Learn the animal abuse laws in your state.

You can help save the lives of animals in your area by reporting animal abuse.

Another way to help animals is to get your pets spayed or neutered.

This way hundreds, even thousands of abused and unwanted animals won’t end up in cages in animal shelters and rescues.

While some shelters are “no time limit shelters,” like the Parma Animal Shelter, others are not.

Spaying and neutering animals can save the lives of millions of animals!
