Hi Parma Animal Shelter,
I’m am the owner of a dog adopted out of PAWS in 2006 after he spent a year living at Parma Animal Shelter. His name is Brody, previously known as Dickens. I’m just wanted to report that Brody has remained being the best dog ever. Meds have actually changed his life dramatically for the better.(went on them after I had a baby 4 years ago and worried about his nervous behavior around baby). I no longer worry about his behavior. He loves my son and is such a good, good boy. I was just thinking about Brody, his journey, and how much I love him. My son is very excited we will be celebrating Brody’s eleventh birthday on New Years Day. (This is the birthday I made up for him many years ago after adopting him July 1 at the estimated age of 1 and a half).
Just wanted to give you a happy update, let you know your loving work really does make such a difference, and know that I will always be so thankful that your facility worked so hard to give this seemingly unadoptable dog a chance.
