This is Athena (FKA Mimsy). She was a little slow coming around??_..16 months to be exact, but with time and lots of patience, she no longer scratches, growls or hisses when you pick her up. She will let you cuddle her for short periods and now approaches the family for petting and nuzzles. We have waited along time for this gal to come around since we adopted her in December of 2011, and she is FINALLY at ease.
