🐾 Thinking About Adopting? Here’s What to Know!

Parma Animal Shelter is open for visitors daily from 5–7 PM and Saturdays & Sundays from 10 AM–12 PM. We love meeting new families, and our volunteers are always happy to help you learn more about our animals.

To make your visit smoother, we encourage anyone interested in adopting to submit an application through our website before coming in. Our adoption counselors work hard to match each animal’s personality with the right home, and having an approved application ready helps us focus on finding the best fit for your family.

During your adoption interview, we’ll talk through your lifestyle, expectations, and the animals currently available to help guide you toward a great match. While we can’t guarantee your perfect companion will be in the building that day, we truly appreciate every visit—and new animals arrive almost every week.
