Update on Clementine 🧡

We want to thank the community for their generosity in support of Clementines veterinary expenses.  Clementines is very sweet but she is still nervous and getting used to her limitations.  We have reached out to volunteers who perform Reiki to try to help her feel more comfortable.  She still has a long road ahead with laser therapy sessions to help speed healing.  We are grateful for the loving care provided by her foster mom Rita.

APRIL UPDATE!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our supporters who contributed to Clementine’s veterinary care. We are delighted to share that Clementine has recovered beautifully from her surgery and is now ready for adoption. We are deeply grateful for the excellent medical care she received and for the dedication of her foster mom, Rita, who guided her through every step of recovery.

We also want to thank everyone who attended March Muttness and our Easter Bake Sale. Your participation and generosity keep our programs strong.

Celebrating Our Community Impact This year promises to be busy and fulfilling. Your ongoing support helps us keep our guests safe in a loving home-away-from-home as they await their permanent families.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Champions We are deeply grateful to our supporters, the City of Parma, and our incredible volunteers. Your generosity enables us to provide shelter and care for strays, surrendered, and abandoned animals—many of whom require medical attention and foster care before they find their forever homes. A special thank you goes out to those who open their hearts and homes to foster animals on their journey to recovery.

ANIMAL SPOTLIGHT

Teresa is a sweet and affectionate female adult cat who loves giving gentle kitty kisses to show her love. She`s full of personality and charm and will even take a treat from your hand. Her favorite pastime is sipping fresh water straight from the faucet like the little queen she is. She will patiently wait for you to turn on the faucet! Whether snuggling up for some affection or showing off her quirky habits, Teresa`s loving nature makes every day brighter. Teresa will rub up against you when she`s feeling affectionate and wants attention. She is playful and likes anything that moves, especially the laser and string toys. Teresa might be okay with another cat or dog and would better with children ages 13 or older due to her getting easily over stimulated. An experienced cat owner is recommended and preferably a single or couple would be better for Teresa. Teresa is currently our longest resident cat and would love to be adopted and in her new home soon! She`s tired of watching other cats get adopted and says it is now her turn to find her forever home!

ANIMAL SPOTLIGHT

B Bub is a 7 year old spayed female cat, who was abandoned outside our shelter. The stress of shelter life is too much for her, so she is currently in a foster home. She is patiently waiting for her new forever home. B Bub is shy and timid until she gets to know and trust you. Therefore she would do better in a quiet home with no small children. Once she does, B Bub is a sweetheart, who loves to explore, play and cuddle. She does not like to be picked up. B Bub is a big girl who needs to lose a little weight, otherwise a healthy cat. She just needs lots of time, patience and love in her new home.
