Hi!
I came to Parma Animal Shelter on June 4, 2012 to look for a pet to help me, I had just recently moved, never had many friends, was starting high school, and was bullied. I expected to get a cat or if I was lucky a kitten, but instead I ended up leaving with a 6 month old puppy named Lou! He was very energetic and friendly, and he hasn’t grown out of it either! Now, 2 years later his name is now Roscoe and he’s my baby boy. He loves to lay in his lazy chair while I do my school work, or he’ll come over and lay his head on my papers just looking up at me. He has really brightened my life up, and I’m so happy I choose to get him instead of all the others! Roscoe hates to be left out, and will wiggle his way into the center of attention. He loves to destroy snowballs and attack the bubble machine. The funny part about Roscoe is he will go into water any chance he gets, but hates bath time! Roscoe is one of a kind and that’s for sure, and I’m happy he was my first dog. I take Roscoe everywhere I go, even when I go horseback riding he follows me on the trails. He’s been my best friend, when I’m sick he’ll stay in bed with me, when I’m upset he’ll lick my hand and cuddle with me. He’s the greatest dog ever, he maybe a complete weirdo and knuckle head, but he is family now forever and always!
Sincerely,
Alyssa Paessler
