In December of 2011, I went to the Parma Animal Shelter just to look, and ended up falling in love with Sunkiss, a beagle mutt who is now named Sophie. She came home with me three days later and has been a loving, sweet, fun, and wonderful addition to my home! At the same time Sophie was in the shelter, a much larger dog named Sarge was at PAS recovering from a surgery. Two months later, my mom saw Sarge on the website and knew that Sarge had to be a member of our family. Sarge now lives with my parents and my brothers, and is a playful, happy, sweet, loving, and fantastic companion and protector. Best of all, Sophie and Sarge are now buddies!
