We are open seven days a week,
from 10:00 to 12 noon*
and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
*We are closed on Friday mornings.

Take a Tour of the
Parma Animal Shelter
The Parma Animal Shelter is now taking reservations for tours of our facility.
Come spend time with the homeless dogs and cats and see the daily care that is given to
our guests. Our tours are educational and fun and we gladly accept groups of all
kinds.
The tours are free, but donations are always welcomed.

Parma Animal Shelters 2009 Calendar of EVENTS!
PARMA HEIGHTS WEEK-END IN THE COMMONS, August 7th, 8th, & 9th from 1pm to 5pm, Greenbriar Commons, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights.
Parma Annual Shelters 3rd Annual DOGGIE SWIM and Cookout! , Sunday, August 23rd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Walter's Grove Swimming Pool (Walter's Grove Park). Please follow the PAS Dog Swim signs on State Rd, west on Milford Ave, north end of 44th St.
Parma Animal Shelters annual SPAGHETTI DINNER, Saturday, Sept. 19th from 4pm to 7pm at Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 6330 Ridge Rd, Parma.
PARMA HEIGHTS HALLOWEEN FEST, October 24th from 11am to 1pm,Greenbriar Commons, 6200 Pearl Road, Parma Heights.
FAMILY BOO NIGHT for the Parma Animal Shelter, October 28th from 5pm to 8pm. Children in costume can meet Parma Animal Shelter dogs and goblins for treats and prizes.
HOLIDAY BAKE AND GIFT SALE, November 15th, 2009, at the Parma Animal Shelter, 6260 State Road, (behind the Honey Hut), Parma, OH
PET PICTURES WITH SANTA CLAWS, December 5th and 6th. Buy a picture with your pet with Santa Claws at PETsMART, 6870 Ridge Rd, Parma in December from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sales benefit the Parma Animal Shelter.

Ozzie's Fund Candy Bar Sale
The proceeds from in-shelter candy bar sales will benefit the Ozzie Fund for sick and injured animals and will help these animals get prompt medical attention by having funds set aside.

Come and help our Furry Friends!
We need volunteers!!! Volunteers are needed to work with cats and also with dogs.
To volunteer, you must be at least 18 years of age.
If you are interested, stop by the shelter and pick up a volunteer applications,
or download here.
Complete the application and return it to the shelter.
You will be contacted to schedule training.
