My name is Kevin Domann. I rescued my best friend, Freeway, from your shelter on 10-14-09. He is a Husky/ Chow mix. Guessing he will be 7 years old in January. Love him so much and I could not get by in life without him. Especially since my great brother just died on 11-1-15. He was only 51 years old. But he’s with our parents and his dog now. We absolutely LOVE him! I am at a loss for the woman’s name (possibly, Rita?) that helped us out that evening with adoption, but I do remember her stating that Steve was a cool cat – and I couldn’t agree more! From the moment we brought him and let him out of carrier – he walked around like he had been here his whole life. Even when I took him to the vet office, the ladies there just took to him and also think he is AWESOME!
