Jake

Jake

Just wanted to extend a huge thank you again to your staff and volunteers! *warning this message is longer than I intended!* lol

8 years ago I was in search of a pup, I looked for months on end online, mainly on petfinder, but other sources as well. I had dogs growing up but this would be my first as a grown up. 🙂 I was pretty sure I wanted a female puppy of sorts. Then staying up late one day, Jakes’ picture popped up. I fell in love.

Brody

Brody

Hi Parma Animal Shelter,

I’m am the owner of a dog adopted out of PAWS in 2006 after he spent a year living at Parma Animal Shelter. His name is Brody, previously known as Dickens. I’m just wanted to report that Brody has remained being the best dog ever. Meds have actually changed his life dramatically for the better.(went on them after I had a baby 4 years ago and worried about his nervous behavior around baby).

Blackie

Blackie

I just wanted to send you this quick picture to show you how great Blackie is doing. ( by the way we changed his name to Spero which is Latin for Hope… Which was the name of the cat I had that just died.)

Jynx

Hi! And Merry Christmas!

My husband and I adopted a kitten from you. When we adopted her she was 8 weeks old and her name was Stella. She is now 8 years old, just had her routine shots and check up with her doctor and she is healthy, happy and very sassy. She is very affectionate and very vocal, she always lets us know what’s on her mind. She is my pride and joy!!

Silvie

Silvie

It’s Silvie (Silvermist) here with a report from my forever home. I’ve been here just over a year now and things are going really great for me. I have plenty of high quality food, a constant supply of fresh water, clean litter, plenty of toys, my own blanket, a cat housemate, grandkids to play with and regular vet care. I don’t have my own bed however because I’m allowed to sleep with my human!! Boy, do they have warm, comfy beds!

Crayola

Crayola

We adopted Crayola on Friday, May 22, 2015. She adapted to our home immediately though she was just 3 months old, and couldn’t be more loved by our family. She loves sleeping on fleece, in sunshine, and on all of us. She’s happy being carried around and we think she’s the cutest cat in the world. We can’t wait to see her at the end of the work/school day. We love her so much and are so happy she is living with us. She also has the loudest purr ever. Thanks so much for bringing her into our lives!

Chloe

“Mom, you need another dog!” My daughter Victoria always voices her opinion. My husband, Floyd, had passed away in June and I was still up to my elbows in settling everything that I had to do. I had had a Shih Tzu, Chyna Tu, up until last year when she died of heart failure. She was a tiny and loving companion for twelve years and I did
miss her.
